I never saw this posted anywhere. He's become one of my favorites for sure.Ender is amazing.

Here's everyone's "parts":

I liked it better when the parts were a full minute but there's some good shit in there, especially from Ryan Lay.

It'd be sick if his ender wasn't blocked by a thumbnail of Chris Cole's big stupid face.  ;)

But in all seriousness the new crop of Foundation riders are really winning me over as of late. They go hard, and none of them are really getting much of a bone thrown to them by the rest of the industry. Glad to see he won.

It was a nice and thoughtful move for Burnett to put Foundation in KOTR this year, they are killing it right now and that could be the catalyst for them to actually gain some popularity.

seem easy and mild and not like it is the
most dangerous thingy in skateboarding.

Congrats to Cole again, but 100% Bobby Worrest's part was the best.

Everybody else just dumped footage to ESPN provided library music, amazing footage yes, but still never a part that you'll remember next week. I'm actually shocked this came up in SLAP.

But Bobby's part, if I'm not mistaken, was the first topographically sequential part (that wasn't just the one-line part gimmick) ever. And somehow the generic music didn't ruin it.

Anybody have any idea what the prize money was? My best 30 seconds of research can only find $50k for gold back in 2012.
Warm Up Zone. Let's watch some skateboarding videos.

I cannot think of anyone either... which is actually kind of strange, considering how big Plaza skating is in the great book of ways to skateboard! I mean it really shows the diversity of that type of skating, and in hindsight it seem like an obvious way to represent that there are so many different lines in most plazas :) Bobby is a genius!

If you can film a part in a couple of hours and be a contender then you should have won. Bobby for everything forever.

Best thing about KOTR this year is that it introduced me to Cole Wilson. I should have known about him before. He is so good, and it seems from the show that he is also a pretty chill guy.

Thinking of copping a foundation board now.

Didn't Bobby already film a whole Pulawski part? Bobby's great but that was super lazy compared to the effort everyone else put in. This year the judges wanted some diversity. As good as he is, he'll never win one of these.

I can't think of one either, but this part came to mind. It's not quite the same thing, but thought it deserved an honourable mention.

Outstanding. Excellent research everybody. Sorry to hijack the thread.

Back in Cole Wilson wins X Games Real Street news, apparently prize money for gold is over $15k this year. Not sure about 2017, and the only other info is $50k for gold back in 2012! So don't feel too bad for Cole Wilson and the "Foundation team is broke" thing.
Warm Up Zone. Let's watch some skateboarding videos.
