top bun-regular, cheap ass, burger bun. i hate buns that taste too much like brioche and will go with the plainer ones anytime
sauce-1/2part mayo, 1/4ketchup, 1/5 mustard, onion/garlic powder, hot sauce, any other seasoning you like
caramelized onions-hot pan, butter, fry 1 cup onion cut in halfrings, salt heavily immediately, sizzle for a minute, reduce heat to medium high, 1 tablespoon honey or sugar, sizzle for two minutes, put heat to high again, add 2-3 tablespoons vinegar, reduce heat to medium, add half a teaspoon of worcestersauce, cook a few minutes more until they are are nicely colored and sticky
2-3 bacon strips
regular beef patty of about 3-4 ounces, seasoned with a lot of salt and some pepper, seared very hard, flipped once and cooked to medium, topped with plastic cheese. i mean that process cheese really sucks on its own but on burgers it's the best i think
this is the optional slot, i usually go without tomato, but if i do, i put it here, pickles or jalapenos would go here as well
some lettuce if i feel like i want sauce on the bottom bun
sauce(still optional)
bottom bun. done.
plz, try my recipe for the onions, it's pretty tasty.
ikobrakai if you add some relish to my sauce recipe it comes pretty close to the classic big mac sauce. after all that is a standard recipe for a burger sauce, so i can't even claim ownership.
lately i've been frequenting mcdonalds just because they have sprite cherry slushies. i also feel like an asshole because of that.
