The memories.

Last Girl video that did it for me and if I remember correctly, pretty much stopped skating Girl/Chocolate boards a few years after this came out. Younger gen will claim Yeah Right but at that point, it lost the magic...for me at least. Probably the influx of random additions and such, who knows.

Thinking of it, loss of Keenan really seemed to change the vibe to me also.

Re-watching...that old man skit is pretty great.

You're wrong. In Yeah Right they was in their prime and must of then had Full Parts. Chocolate tour was majority few clips in one minute footage. Yeah Right was the evolution.

How can someone be wrong about their own opinion of what they like?

I'm with verylowimpact - Yeah Right didn't have the same vibe, for me. Felt like all the new guys kinda changed up the original aesthetic. Music selection was weaker. I think of pre-Yeah Right as the golden years of Girl/Chocolate, and post Yeah Right as the confused and trying to stay relevant years.

Which new guys? BA, KA, RM (was introduced in chocolate tour), Biebel, P-Rod and Jay Casanova was new on It, but Gino Full part and Marc Johnson made me stoked. I also with low impact, is my type of skating, but Yeah Right was the best video to me. I agree with you, they kinda lost that dirty street dudes vibe.

Yeah Right came out right in time for a new era in skateboarding. For me, photosynthesis closed the 90s, Yeah Right set the tone for the 00s

Glad they upload them to you tube.  I put on mouse on the 54" the other week and loved the quality

I still have these on VHS but most tapes look absolutely booboo on my HDTV and even bought a VCR with HD capability.

I am on the Yeah Right train. That is my favorite Crailtap vid. Chocolate Tour is definitely up there and even Full Flared even though people give that video so much shit now. But Yeah Right was just the best from the skating, music, skits, etc.

All downhill after Goldfish. But Im bias to this era. Plus MC skates to Melachi the Nutcracker of Group Home and then De La. Pure gold! But still, the first 4 crail videos were best. I honestly feel Yeah Right ushered in the overproduced feel.

I enjoy Yeah Right but I will say, I liked the overall feel of most of the videos Tim Dowling was heavily involved in more, over Ty trying to make them "epic." Although, I'm not exactly sure who was the full-time filmer for Girl for Chocolate Tour, as I'm pretty sure Dowling got fired after Mouse.

Yeah Right has some great stuff. Full parts by Koston, BA, and McCrank at their peaks, plus amazing Gino and MJ parts. I get though how its the first Crailtap video with a bunch of new guys after some of the old heads had retired/forced to leave (Gavin, Jovantae, Sheffey) or stopped producing enough footage (Guy, Rudy, etc). Plus obviously Keenan's untimely death.
