Emerica's durability/support?
« on: July 28, 2021, 10:22:17 AM »
I'm in love with how these new Omen Hi's look but I've in the past heard Emerica's break down quick and don't have great support. I'm used to skating the vans skate sk8-hi's which normally last me quite a while so I'm iffy on these.

Emericas are great but these omens are canvas so they will wear quicker than a suede shoe. You cant go wrong with Emerica tho. They make better skate shoes than vans IMO.

The emericas I had all seem more durable the vans. Idk about support though but as said above emerica is definitely more durable than vans. Prob feel same for support if skating vulcs. That pour in cupsole is great though. Comfy and I like it more than anything.

I've been very satisfied with most emerica shoes I've had. If you're looking for support, the cup sole models are very good, I love my Spankys, but I don't skate them. I mostly skate vulcs, so Dicksons and wino Slip ons were very good for me, had to shoe goo the slips where the seam was, but they lasted a while, and Dicksons are simply excellent imo. Also skated romeros years ago, they were called "laced" back then I think, and they were also quite durable.
