Haslam boardslide flip out on a rail. I forget what part though.
[close]

almost round 3?
[close]

He was doing a bunch of boardslide and lipslide flips out in his Deca part years beforehand.

True, but I actually think I was thinking of Round 3 because the deca stuff was flatrail. I should have been specific to handrails down stairs since that's what i meant by my initial post...but yeah his deca stuff was insane. Also he looks like a completely different human in that stuff too. He's like two different people.

Gonz hippie jump that he didn't really land at the end of Real to Reel fucked me up for a long time. Did not see how anyone could do that.

A lot of Haslam's part in Round 3 seemed crazy, he and others may have done flips out of boardslides before but that boardslide fs flip out was immaculate and caught.

I couldn't understand ANY trick over picnic tables, but I didn't realize that those Cali tables are small as fuck and I was only like 11.

Same here.  I thought those were full sized adult picnic tables for so long.  What are those?  Picnic tables for ants?

Mike Mo fakie f/s crook 360 flip.

A bunch of stuff Creager did on picnic tables at the end of his What If? part.

I also remember being blown away the first time I saw someone doing a 360 on flat, it just didn't make sense someone could ollie well enough to spin all the way around without going off of something hah.

I agree with everything else you said but the 360 thing is so spot on. Around the when I started skating, one of the first videos I saw was mosiac. Fred Gall's first line he does a back 360 on flat and I kept rewinding it over and over, because he span so fast. I actually thought he did more than a 360 the first time I saw it, I was so blown away. In that same line he does a wallride at this spot in Philly on American street and at this point I thought wallrides were just something from video games. I didn't really think that they were that possible. I may have already seen someone do one in a video by this point, but I feel like I wasn't sure what was happening. Fred's wallride just looked so deliberate there was no thinking it was anything else. Still one of my favorite lines to this day.

What I couldn’t believe were Cole’s three fucking Enders in New Blood. Go back and look at that Bs 3 flip into the Pitt; it is executed and landed so ridiculously perfect and the first instance of that trick (I think) being done down something and it’s just incredible.

cole's was obviously bigger and better but 13 years earlier ryan fabry put down what might have been the first backside 360 ollie flip down a gap:

Same here! Even independent of PJ, how anyone could do a fs kickflip was completely incomprehensible to me for the longest time. I mean, the foot has to flick into the same direction in which the board turns 180. Thinking about it now I still don't really get it.

Koston handrail nollie heel nose in chocolate tour
Justin Eldridge switch flip salad in yeah right
Danny Gonzales ceiling ride in... first love?
I forget who it was, but like 10-12 years ago some Spanish guy did backside 180 nose grind switch front 180 out in the middle of a tall ledge.  Anyone remember that shit?  All I remember was the web clip was a welcome part for some Spanish board brand.  Anyway, that trick seemed particularly impossible.
