That was great. Jed has been killing it forever and I feel like he's been seen around quite a bit... How come he never got hooked up before except for that 917 flow (when they were just starting and barely a "real thing)? Is it because of the snowboard thing?

Wasn’t he the next big thing in snowboarding and he ghosted on that to just live in Toronto and skate/make art with his mates? Kinda cool if so.

An actual snowboarder could answer better but he IS a big thing in snowboarding.  Does giant rails switch and used to win tons of contests as a kid.  Friends who snowboard say he is one of the few that got huge and stayed cool, didnt go the nyjah/sean white route.

We desperately need Jed back in Snowboarding; he was/is fucking unreal:

1. He approaches Snowboarding like a Skater and was one of the first to do so.
People used to see a rail/feature and think of a trick to do down it.
Jed's dropping in 1km up the road linking together little ollies over fences with nose bonks, wallrides, and other weird shit before he throws himself down a set.
I.e. He opened everyones eyes to what a creative line looks like in Snowboarding.

2. Everything he does is faultless, scarily so.
Doesn't matter if BS boardslide, switch backlip or he's spinning 270 into that shit, he always lands perfectly sideways on the rail (none of this weak 75 degree shit we call zeaching), and is always right in the middle of his board, every time. Applies for every trick.
I.e. He never tic tacs, scrapes his manuals, rockets his flips etc. Does everything perfect like Mark Suciu.

3. He does insanely technical tricks on unneccessarily large rails, can throw his carcass into the air when needed, and has impeccable trick selection and riding style.
He's a rare breed of ATV.
I.e. He has the abilities of a CK1 mixed with Ishod mixed with Grant Taylor with the Internationally respected style of a Gino.

This part illustrates much of the above, and it came out back in 2011 when he was still a little kid, following which he just continued to get better with age (he snowboards Goofy for reference):

Yes. I have a couple friends who do this.

Oh yeah there's loads of em...water or snow it doesnt matter but

if your feet are attached to your board you sometimes ride the other way than when your feet are not attached to your board.

So you surf and skate the same way but if you strap in the bindings and go to snow or water it's another story...

That's accurate; I always chalked it up to having a fucked left ankle.

I Snowboard Goofy, Skate & Surf Regular and the few times I've been Wakeboarding I've been Goofy.
Chris Grenier, an old Salomon teammate of Jeds Snowboards Regular and Skates Goofy.
A bunch of others I can't think off the top of my head right now.

It's helped my switch Snowboarding a shit tonne.

Kinda makes me smile that Jed and Jake Kuzyk are both pro snowboarders, and both SLAP approved. That's got to be the hardest trick in skateboarding.
