At the time it was definitely the best video to come out or, at the least, the most anticipated. The video delivered on all fronts from what the expectation was. Definitely peak crailtap video. That Gino part blew everyone away when it came out because I don’t think anyone really expected a full part from him. Love this video.

Intro part 1 - Still like it, little long. Iffy song.
Intro part 2 - Gets me hyped!!! Spiffy song!
Biebel - Young, before he got thicc. Great part. Line at 9:38 shows why he was put on Girl at the time. Switch Front heel down that set was immaculate.
Ghost board skit - Forgot about that. Fun, but like a wu-tang skit, you just wish it would go away after a couple of views.
BA - His best part. Excellent song. Should not have left Girl.
MJ - Never disappoints. Backlip into the bank! Line @ 20:13 (loading dock) 8). Joy Division!
Chocolate Montage - Dope. Johnston! That krook Kenny did at USC. Bowie
York - Mike is definitely the coolest dude that would buy weed from my buddy in SF in '97. Dunno about a Switch Crook on a bench as a stand alone trick. in 2003? Still can't hate on this dude. Love him.
Eldridge - Didn't he seem like the next big thing after this part? Kinda fizzled out.
Gino - What else is there left to say? Top 5 part ever in skateboarding.
Wilson skit - Excellent to watch? Yes, to this day. Excellent for a tattoo? The jury is still out.
McKinley - Nollie front 3 over the garbage can at speed. If he stayed on Blind, he probably would've went pro.
Girl Montage - About as Ty Evans as you can get: Portraits, Slow mo birds, Overdramatic Electronica. Tony Fergusson's swan song. The only Mariano trick we saw for a full decade. Rick's ender is amazing.
P-Rod - 2 killer tunes. His best style. Start your own company, sure. Leave for Plan B, no. Bummer.
Jeremy Rogers - Never.Gave.2.Shits.About.This.Robot.
Carroll - Fakie to hurricane. Skates fast. Sick flick. He should mentioned with Koston, Reynolds etc. Rarely is.
McCrank - So much talent. He's a machine. Finally gets a good song. Style is even better on tranny.
Invisible boards skit - cute. enough already.
Koston - Stealing Wallets = Suppressive Person yo. Opening line is his answer to Reynolds line in TIS. (Reynolds won) Typical insane Koston part. 360 flip NB was a proper ender when an ender was a fucking ENDER. THE FRANK BLACK SONG RULES YOU FUCKING PHILISTINES. Don't @ me.

I love this video.

Nice break down but you're blowing it.  This came out months before tis.

The hate for Pretty Sweet has been brought up a few times but, I think it has a different meaning for newer generations. The video itself is something that someone new to skateboarding can easily get into as it's got a lot of special effects but, kids like it

The best thing about Yeah Right on DVD was the Extras montage. Funny clips and some good throwaway footage, Brandon Biebel was the best, skip to 2:56 for his stoned face

For a pro, on Chocolate, in 2003? Meh.

Those ledges were A) high, B) Chunky, C) curved. He did a front crook to pop out through the curve. Sorry it wasn't a nollie flip front crook nollie 360 flip, but for a lot of people style means something - not just the level of difficulty of the trick. That being said, front crooking to pop out through that would be hard as fuck, so in the end you really just don't know what the fuck you're talking about.

MJ skating to Joy Division in the VHS version. He skates to New Order in the next video. Smoking ciggs and post-punk became real popular in my area after that.

the whole 'quiet on the set' thing that's come in in the last few years is fucking baffling. it becomes so apparent when watching raw edits when you notice there's 5 seconds of silence after every trick before all the homies collectively burst into flames with excitement. i think it started way later than 2003 though

This was my childhood bible. Got it in the mail from ccs the same day that my report card with my first f's came. My mom hid the video from me but when she left for the night to go out drinking I tore the house apart found it and watched it. Koston's 3 flip nasalblunt ad was in the spillover of my binder. Ba, mj and gino became my favorite skaters. I've come home alone from the bar all coked up and watched this video like 25 times back in my party time phase. Probably still top 5 vids ever even though I gotta fast forward through a good amount of parts

Video is still pretty amazing. Rick McCrank’s part has so much replay value to it. His opening 180 and then switch Ollie down those stairs was insane.  Every single part in that video was sick. This was also back when Paul was on and Jereme Rogers wasn’t a massive kook. Rewatching this video now makes me miss Scott Johnston a lot too.

Fully flared was a great follow up to that video and then pretty sweet was trash with the exception of Corey, MJ and mike mo’s parts

You must be new to skating, or don't know people who take filming seriously. It has always been a general rule of thumb for a good deal of skaters - don't cheer, and especially don't say "YEAH!" super loud right after someone finally lands something they've been battling to get on film, because it gets annoying when you go back and watch the footage. Extra annoying to edit when someone yells right when a dude lands a trick. Always be polite and wait a good few seconds, for the sake of the final product. Is it really hard to be a little considerate?
