This is from his interview.

"The craziest thing I saw were that the menus were nuts. Dude, I had fucking goose head! Marinated goose head, like, you know, a duck?

A few more hits to the the head and he might be mistaking pigs with cows.
Now, we used to say we put on our tights to put on the world. So I don't think it tarnishes the image at all.

too bad he won't wear a helmet. i get it, image means a lot and its hard to worry about tomorrow when you're young and crushing life. but he will surely regret it if he lives into middle age and beyond. feels awful watching him get wrecked like that

I'll add to the growing amount of posts that express concern for his brain. Those slams were disturbing.

Yea gonna agree with the “is it worth it” sentiment as well, is this seriously what you have to go through to skate like that? The slams made me not even enjoy the big stuff, definetly one of the heaviest parts to come out recently.

I fucking hate people who don’t actually care about the person slamming pontificating about how he should wear a helmet
Are you a kook? If you would say this, the answer is “YES”

Big and basic doesn't do it for me, but the ollie from the overhang into the wall stuck out. Way rather see someone do a nice flip back tail down a 7 stair than another feeble down a whocares stair. Dude should buy a nice bib cause he's gonna be drooling all over himself by the time he's 40.

What about slothflip's statement makes it seem like he doesn't care? Does he have to personally know him to wish he would skate safely? With that recent Jenkem article coming out, slams like that aren't anything I want to see nor do I wish them to be glorified. Makes me sick that young kids will look at this being portrayed as cool.

Add his name to skaters getting CTE, great skating but fuck I could've done without the slams.
Some slams fit well into a part, but multiple times he looked unconscious.

His skating is great though, him and Ronnie should share a part

What the fuck are you on about? Multiple people in this thread share a similar sentiment--people are concerned for this guy's health. And, ultimately, why don't skaters wear helmets? Image. Our peers in BMX don't even seem to struggle with this.

“Our peers in bmx” that rep is gonna go down quick

As someone who said the slams ruined it for me, i dont care wether the guy wears a helmet or not, i would just rather skateboarders not be putting themselves at this much risk for tricks because the ends does not justify the means.  Even if he wore a helmet during those slams I wouldnt be stoked on him getting wrecked.

Im down for helmets to be more regular in skating but thinking someone should wear one is getting more into a political territory.  To take it a step further, any skateboarding at all can be deemed dangerous, but we as skaters know the difference in a 20 stair rail with grass on one side and perfect runway, vs. a shingle roof to steep handrail.  If we start pushing helmets on people the lines can get blurred quick.

imo, seems like if you don't like violence or something of the sort, don't watch it. the brand is called death wish. not girl or chocolate. they're kinda known for going all out. i didn't like seeing them either, but to say he should wear a helmet, or to question the way he skates and if its worth it is just crazy, imo. i mean, the first KO, ok, that one was not relatable. but the 2nd KO was something I've seen friends do, fall back like that after slipping out of a 5050 on a round rail. to people who engage in combat sports or something like that, getting knocked out is common. they don't grimace like you and i when they see someone flail like that. hear that sound of the head crack the pavement...ugh. It also seems like watching this could raise a question in all of us is "is this worth it or not?" which that is up to each person.you either like skateboarding, with all its dark and violence and crime, or you don't.  my biggest thing is that he gets some sort of treatment for them. cuz cte fucks you up bad. a well placed doctors visit could change but,  80% guarantee they partied after the KO's though.
