Jake Duncombe

Don't know exactly how famous he was at his peak but he's definitely a pile now
[close]

Def partied but was severely screwed over by his manager and was forced back to Australia to face a hefty fine or possible jail time, he filed for bankruptcy to avoid it all and therefor could no long travel or be paid to skate
I’m not sure how this even close to possible.
Unless he was doing some pretty hefty tax evasion u will not be looking at time
In Australia. Nor does being bankrupt stop u from being paid to skate/travel.
Last interview I saw he was working as a skilled labourer of some sort. But that was long time ago
He sure had a good run tho..

- Sheckler: went all in on MTV. Got money, got tatted up, went buff and fell off hard. Right into alcohol and drugs. I've seen photo's where he looks really really skinny...

- Mariano: already 'famous' as a kid and fell of into the demonhands of crack when he was older. Vanished for years and came back with a vengeance

- Jason Lee: Famous skater in the 80's and early to mid 90's. Best 360 flip ever and he actually made it as an actor, even on Hollywood. Got caught up in scientology for years and posted weird stuff here and there. Thank god he left and got some sanity back...

Gator is not crazy. He just did what the voices in his head told him to do.

Which skaters did fame fuck up? Could be subtle or obvious.

Jereme Rogers obviously.

Nyjah is a parenting/child fame cocktail so shouldn't be on this list.

Paul Rodriguez prays into his hat and pays for acting lessons like every other successful sportsman to actor did (hint, there weren't any).

Spanky is constantly on an etch a sketch, seems suspect.

Louie Barletta has a bowl cut and drives a tank. Completely gone.

Evan Smith is on his way.

while i don't really have favoritism for Spanly, and the rest of these dudes are pretty kooky for their own reasons, ur a dingus
Perhaps if your only impression of Louie is KOTR viceland shit, i see where ur coming from (*bites tongue and grimaces*). but ur still a dingus

Spanky kills the etch a sketch and has alway been into "art" so I think you are wrong there.  Also I feel like whatever Louie did with his life he would have a bowl cut and a tank.

Declaring bankruptcy in Australia requires you to surrender your passport for a period of time (5 years I believe).

Kellen Dadd. Loved that dudes skating. I think social media hyper inflated his ego. He quit very publicly without anything lined up. I guess he imagined offers would just be knocking.

Dunno how i stumbled on it but yesterday was reading, pretty sure dude was looking at heavy jail time for some sketchy shit with some 12 year old girl. Him and "Baby Scumbag"?... Trash all around it sounded like.

Him and scumbag sexually exploited a 12 year old girl about 3 years ago. I know you’re probably new here but there’s a pretty long thread about it.

He created a caricature of himself in order to make millions of dollars. It's not something many people would pass up given the chance. He also seems self aware.

not sure if serious

he definitely knows what he's done.  even in the kalis epicly later'd when addressing the 'up river' comment, he says something like "me I can understand, but kalis is no way up river by any means"
i don't want to link to the channel because is promotes athiesm.
