Heavy news. I haven't been keeping up on his newer stuff, but I loved his older stuff. He was kind of coming into fame as I was a young teenager, and I can remember vividly cramming into Kilby, less than 100 people, in the middle of the frigid winter to watch him perform. We hotboxed the small venue and it was one of the most personal shows ive ever been to. I was 15, he was 19 and full of life!

If you remove about half the songs from Faces it's a pretty incredible mixtape. There's actually an abridged version of it on Spotify with most of the good tracks so someone out there agrees with me.

Yeah, I knew who he was but never listened to much. I listened to “Blue Slide Park” album earlier. Will get to the rest of them too.

It’s a pretty good album. Good hip hop for the times.

Dude kids and blue slide don’t even touch his more recent stuff. Faces And swimming are god damn masterpieces. Highly recommend. I’m pretty torn up about this one. Seems silly but I feel like lost a friend.
