when i can actually land half cab flips i find that sometimes i hang my foot too far off to get a proper flip, then i re adjust my toe to be on a bit more on the board closer to the bolts (sideways not long ways) then it starts working for me, so that might also be a problem for you too maybe.

It usually wraps my toes and turns into a stupid Casper flip type of shit. I'll get them on occasion, but it's rare. Still can't kickflip at the moment also and blah blah blah I'm just making excuses.
