can't believe you remember that ! honestly it's not that i didn't want to disclose it (noone cares anyway), just that the awkwardness of the spot i did it at was half the trick, making it hard to describe without posting the footage. that and i really just wanted to share my stoke on the pure feeling one gets from skateboarding whenever they fight for something that pushes their personal limits, and eventually make it, regardless of what said personal limits may be, i just think it's the best thing when 20 years into skating, the activity can still make you feel like you did when you landed your first ollie or kickflip as a kid, there's a timeless element to that stoke and infinite potential as much as the possibilities and room for improvement are endless. i was trying to make some kind of contemplative general statement then people blew it out of proportion and it snowballed, everyone started putting sheckler on OJ wheels and shit, thought it was really funny, typical SLAP !
trick was basically a nosewheelie across a plaza then step hop (straight no-comply without the curb) out and down an 8, but with the shittiest run-up and landing (both at a 90 degree angle), also you have to go in between two poles for the nosewheelie and the landing of the 8 is shit and cobblestones. i hand-dragged a little but it was good enough for me. i hope i get to post the part or full video sometime this month !
in the meantime all i've got is this lousy switch anticasper on a skatepark bank
