Friend of mine filmed these clips during my first stint in Cleveland. He ended up using them for a video for Condensed Flesh and Pike Dreamz.

quick park clip from the other day. not too sure why i'm posting it. i just wanted an excuse to film a switch crooked grind since i've been doing them a lot recently, now that i've seen how mine looked like it's obvious i need to try and do longer ones. fun trick anyway, thinking of trying it at a certain spot in my hometown soon.

found some clips of me dating back to 2004, basically growing up on my little local spots :

and here's an unused line from earlier this year, same spot, almost 14 years later :

Little frontside noseslide on a rail. Got the clip last week, shot the photo today. The rail kind of wedges your truck funny so I didn't get it fully straight for the pic but couldn't be bothered doing it again,

dope stuff. your no-comply over the gap on the previous page blew my mind, gap looked massive and the spot really hard to skate.

this is a silly road gap trick from last summer

Couple lil Insta edits from the past couple weeks. Both filmed on a whim.

That switch(?) laserflip(?) a the end was rad!  Been working on backtails lateley and have this to share.  Hope to get them on higher stuff(and to actually get them to slide) in the future.
All you got is today, get out and skate.

thanks (it was sw big heel, somehow relearned those last summer after a decade of not doing them). back tails are so awkward, i've done them before on stuff as small as your curb too but that's pretty much it, and that was thanks to the tip of someone on here who advised to look at your back bolts before you pop (couldn't believe that's all i needed). yours looked like a proper start though, you look like you've got the basic motion down. we should make it some goal for 2018 to get them down real good

Thanks I'll try looking at my back bolts when I try them again. I honestly think I just need more pop.

haha I just watched all of it. flip outs in general are so frustrating, but so satisfying when you start getting the trick down, like it's so hard you can't believe you've done it once you have succeeded, then now matter how hard you fantasize about ever learning the trick consistently, part of you kind of want to never try and miss one again. it's kind of easy to get into a good flow though, after the first time, you just keep trying it at the end of your line every now and then, then it starts working occasionally until it's fully part of the repertoire, that's fulfilling and makes the original battle worth it... I feel like flip-ins are a completely different beast because with them, you literally can't begin to get into the trick at first and it gets irritating and boring a lot quicker - to me at least...

thanks, oddly enough that was one of the first tricks I ever learned, 18 years ago, I couldn't even flick switch flips but somehow I could do nollie and switch impossibles and pressure flips (and variations), then it took me 6 more years to be able to do them regular. I have this theory that impossibles naturally tend to be a lot easier switch (and nollie) to a lot of goofy-footed skaters because as people we usually have better coordination with the right foot and the trick in itself is all coordination... more generally it's just easier to do around whatever foot is your dominant foot. but most people don't know for they won't even ever try a switch impossible if they can't do a regular one already... that's my real-life advice to most people I see struggling trying to get impossibles - 'try it switch'. then I always get that look from them, until they do try and most of the time it works... that applies to regs and switch front foot impossibles too.

been trying to learn nollie impossible (back footed, Armando Barajas style) out of f/s nosegrind but I keep doing 360 shove... maybe that's better. (I can do the impossible trick just fine out of nosewheelie but for some reason nosegrind is harder. it's a fun personal challenge, I'll get there)
