yeah. you have to get a feel for the obstalce, though. for instance, at a skatepark someone may have waxed the top where the wheels slide and you'd have to be careful. in that case, you can just stand in the slide. you can come straight at the ledge or from the side; you can wait until the end or exit early. if the ledge is rough, you just power through it, thinking of a
powerslide. back toe is the key in that situation. learning back lips helped me with back tails. i skate slow and it's one of the tricks i'm comfortable with doing going fast
