i spilled a full beer on mine like two years ago, i was stuck on shuffle for 6 months. then it fixed its self and broke.

i got moisture in mine and the click wheel stopped working. woudn't scroll or do anything with volume. you can hold a hair dryer to it for awhile evidently, it will erase the harddrive and you have to reboot it.

i still have my 512MB box-shaped mp3 player that i bought 3 or 4 years ago. she's a pretty reliable piece of machinery. i'll make the step up to an i-pod someday
