Maybe around December I got them from someone off of here for cheap. One wheel still rolls like some Swiss ceramics should but all the other ones are noticeably more sluggish but still decent enough to use. They always get super dusty skating the desert and I tend to roll through dirt/grass a lot skating weird spots on top of that so that's probably why I go thru bearings so fast. I should just stick to reds, haha

I like those spf shapes but spend most time in the street.[close]I honestly haven't gone proper street skating since setting them up, but they feel good to me when I skate down to the gas station for a beer or bomb the hill in my apartment complex. Only thing is they sit high which took some getting used to. That could obviously be avoided by going smaller though. I do love the shape, and they are super smooth when brand new. Make wallrides feel amazing.

Is this the shape with the 33" length? I've wanted to try an 8.5 Quasi but that length/wheelbase got me scurd.

Were you bummed you got the pink? Strange they don't give you an option on color. I am good with the natural wood, but would have preferred the blue or yellow. The concave, shape, and size are all perfect so I really do not care.

[close]I recently downsized to 8.38 dlx but prior to that, I was skating 8.62 dlx boards with 14.75 wheelbase and 33" length. Then I skated two of these 8.5 quasis(the stains I got weren't nearly as nice as this one, damn) and the wheelbase really didn't feel any longer than the dlx boards, board didn't feel any longer either. I think quasi boards are measured a bit smaller than dlx boards in every dimension if that reference helps you at all. All in all, I don't think it's going to bother you all that much.

Quasi's PS Stix measuring system is a little off.
