Seems pretty solid. Tons of pop.
I rock this and an Anti-Hero 8.75 with the big indys and big wheels. It's nice to change it up.

Old Board:

Shop board 8,5
Theeve 5,85 trucks  /they are dope as fuck/
Lucky phillips head hardware
Indy risers, that are probably 7 years old
Lucky bearings, I think they are Abec 5, probably 3 years old and still good as fuck
Some cheap wheels, used to be 50, now are probably 47 mm.
Black Magic grip

New Board is Foundation 8,5, concave is mellow as hell, which is perfect, and also Black Magic grip

Not as annoying as snapping this board on flatground after half an hour of warming up. Pretty disappointed, this is the first Blackbox board I've had so I don't think I'll be buying another.

Yeah, I'm more than willing to accept that I fucked up. Doesn't make me feel any better about snapping a board in half an hour though.

Can't deny the dude's art is awesome though. I'm still a little bummed about the whole Johan Stuckey/Huf Roger scenario.

What is this scenario you're speaking of- just out of curiosity?

Also, myself, a couple of my friends and our moms took a tour of his workspace in his house when we were in middle school. I guess my friend's mom knew him because she's also an artist, and we all got to observe the seemingly thousands of figurines that occupied his bookshelves and every other available surface, and the stacks of paintings leaning against everything. He's a super friendly dude though, always seems to be giving out stickers he keeps in his pockets to anybody at the skate park who strikes up a conversation with him, and his art is great!

Just got a set of Ace's. The shop only had black but I'm psyched to not hang up on my kingpins anymore. First new set of trucks in almost 2 years.

i too would like to hear about that situation.. but on another note, the deck feels great and has such a good shape, it sounds dumb but some boards just have a more fun shape to me and this thing has become one of my favorites I've had in a long ass time

Huf wanted him on a "real" company or something like that an dnow he's on habitat flow. That sieben story is great, did you know about his involvement in skating at that time?

Wizards of Radical had just come out, and I was super into Bueno at the time. I'm pretty sure I wore one of his Volcom shirts multiple times throughout every week.
I'm skating a shop board with his art on it right now actually...

That's weird because Nate Broussard is on Huf and he skates for Roger.

I think its because they didn't have enough boards to send Johan or something and Huf told him to find a "real board sponsor" or something like that.
