I’m more surprised at the ollie hole on an unworn pair of shoes than I am appalled by baegis wearing his/her sister’s shoes.

Was gonna say the same thing. How do you get a hole before a crease or scuff? The black stripe is still there for bah gawd
Wide feet + canvas, not the best combo. Thats after a few ollies. There is suede backing so they should last. or not.

149's on an 8.25 is close to perfect in my opinion
reckon you can rock 8.18 with 149s?

^ I assume on such setup normal width wheels will sit flush against sides of board. Landing primo could be a disaster though.

Long time lurker... So I though I would introduce myself here, with a new setup.

On the left is my new setup. I love the B16, not much more to say...

Baker B16 (8.457" x 31.875")
Indy 149mm
Bones STF 52mm V2
Bones Reds
Mob Grip
Shake Junt Hardware

The right is my what started out as a shaped cruiser but now I ride everything with it. Super addicting shape. Just threw new wheels on it, a bit smaller then the 59mm Rough Riders I had on it before.

Welcome 8.6 (Stonescipher Shape)
Indy 149mm
OJ Keyframes 54mm
Bones Reds
Shake Junt Grip (bought into the hype...)
Shake Junt Hardware

So much great info on this site! Can't thank you contributors enough.

Looks brand new, do you just bomb hills? Nice set ups though - I've been really into the look of og Baker boards lately.

the pointiness of the baker board makes me really want to get one. not into the Band-Aid or squared off decks nowadays

It's a great shape, but just too short of a wheelbase for me.

All new everything. Haven't had a christmas complete in over a decade - I'm stoked.

Alien 8.0 (maybe 8.06?)
Krux lows 8.0
Spitfire Classics 52mm
Bomber "Rush" bearings (have only skated reds, thought I'd try something new)
Jessup

I've only ever skated 7.75 boards so this is a huge change for me. I'm both scared and excited.

The Baker is brand new! Except the wheels, they were on my last setup. The Welcome has been used a bit but the wheels in the photo are new. It had some really hefty 59mm Rough Riders on it before. To bad there is a big storm in my area right now or I would get out there and dirty them up!

I actually prefer the squared off noses but there's something about the pointiness on the b16 that makes it work. I'd love to get my hands on another one.

Dude I appreciate your setup so much! Indy’s with a 14” wb is such a good combo I’m doing the same with a girl feels good and seriously you can’t beat classic bones stf, they know the skateboard wheel business On how to make a wheel that grips, slides and takes impact/ rebounds on tough ground without destroying your knees as bad as other wheels

For any 14" wheelbase lovers, I just noticed Doomsayers has a bunch of 14" WB on most of their sub 8.5" decks.

Surprisingly tight turns, the pivot cup sits on more of an angle than Indy or thunder etc and they end up being responsive as hell
