i have a setup with an 8.75 Polar on Indy 169 standards and 56mm F4 conical fulls.  other than being huge and heavy, it's skates/turns/handles the same as an 8.38 or 8.5 on indy 149s.
hardly art, hardly starving

Anyone had a setup similar to Peter Hewitt? 8.75 with 169s? Those trucks seem wide but what do I know

ive ridden 169s on anything from an 8.5-9.5 and they are perfect no matter what. ive found the wheels you pair with it affect it more than the deck width, riding conical fulls on an 8.5 with 169s makes it all frankensteined, but regular classic spits are just fine. same with a 9.5, pairing it with conical fulls is perfect, while smaller width wheels are too small.

Nice rides.  I'll take a stab at the id.  I feel like it's Lindsey Lohan from one of several mug shots, but wish it was Jocelin Donahue from The House of the Devil, because she's a babe.

Thanks Guys! The girl on the left is actually a model from New Zealand. Her name is Georgia Fowler and she's been on a bunch of Victoria Secret Runway Shows.

Oh and even featured on a Selena Gomez music vid. ;D

8.25" x 32" blank
Indy 139's
Bones Hard bushings
A-1 Meats 62mm 95A
Amphetamine Ceramics Silvers
I haven't stepped foot on a board since 2013. Broke my elbow and got in trouble with THE LAW.
I have a steel plate in my elbow now, and pretty much had given up. Been jonesing to skate, so I put this together.
Won't have time to skate it until tomorrow, so just checked it our on the patio. Bearings seem fast. Wheels seem softer then 95A and are really grippy. I'll probably swap them out later for something that slides, but they'll be good for cruising.

I got excited that she was part of the Babes Series, but realized that wasn't the case after some investigating.  She's a timeless babe. And get in line, motherfucker.  Jocelin don't love you...

I wish she was, maybe it's time for a petition? The pic I have of her is under a piece of clear grip on that board.

Just thinking of getting new deck, last real full 8.38 was a beast...to much since I'm 170cm, the wheelbase with thunders is a big no no for me.

I'm thinking of you machine/foundation or jart 8.38, I live in Italy...how can I get the ps wood ones?

Ask Hercules Rockefeller. He sent me a pm about Toy Machine boards a while ago when I complained that I only got the Chinese made ones in Europe with 14" wheelbases. I replied to him a a week or so ago as it took me forever to notice his pm with the new layout here but I dunno if he has noticed it.

Here's a link to the shop he works at: http://www.freedomskateshop.at/
For what it's worth, he told me that usually the cheaper ones are made in China but that I could ask him and he'd check the dimensions and wether it's China wood or not.

Hercules Rockefeller, I hope you don't mind me blasting this info in public here. I can edit it out if you want. Also hit me up with a pm. I'll try getting round to reading it a bit faster this time.  :D

It's impossible, here we just get the China wood. If you're looking for a Jart board but you hate the design (as everyone) Sour, the national skate co, habitat, sk8mafia and flip are pressed at HLC (Jart wood factory)

Haven't skated an FA board since they first dropped. This one's listed as an 8.25, but it definitely seemed to measure closer to an 8.38 in the shop.

8.25(?) FA Kevin Bradley board
Thunder 149s
Spitfire F4 52 mm, 99d

As far as slip ons go they skate pretty well. The only downside is that the thread that holds the stretchy band on the side ripped pretty fast, but the shoe hugs your foot pretty well so that it's not significantly looser. They are a pretty slim shoe, so they're by no means tanks as far as durability goes, but I'm having a good time with 'em.
