Hey 144p is the 8.62 size of that deck the same shape/wb of the 8.62 dlx boards(8.62W 32.56L WB14.75)?  Really like that graphic!
[close]
I believe the dimensions are similar, same wheelbase but not the exact same shape.
I don't work until tuesday but I'll measure it then and let you know.
[close]
If the wheelbase is the same I'm down thank you!
It is indeed 14.75 wb.

Yeah I'm stoked on it. The stability on the 169's is insane. This is the first time I've ever skated anything wider than a 149 and I wish I had earlier.

I decided to live dangerously. I want to give PS Stix one more shot and I wanted to step back down in size to 8'.

Quasi 8' - Love this shape. Overall length, and nose/tail length are perfect. That said, I'm just still undecided whether or not I like PS Stix boards.

I don't if this is the right place to ask and I'm not sure if I can explain this correctly but here it goes:

I really love the overall shape and dimensions of dlx brands, most of the boards I've ridden have been the classic 8.25 krooked decks. But at the same time I have noticed that a shorter boards fit me better and deluxe boards are quite long for me. I've been thinking down sizing maybe even going for a 8.00 but the problem comes that the decks I had don't feel the same when they are smaller because most of the time they are a long as the bigger ones and if I buy a 32x8.12 it doesn't feel the same.. So do any of you know is there possiblity to have like a 8.25 scaled down to an 8? So that all the dimensions scale down proportianally? If this some thing that is even possible? I'm ready to compromize on the lenght of nose or tail but would not like to.

I don't if this makes any sense but would be cool if did

Crailtap, Primitive, even the Polar 8.25 shape might be your best bet. Short wheelbases with smallish lengths.

I'm now skating a Palace Lucien Clarke 8.25 and I think its 32 in length.. The shape is in overall great but it just feels a bit chubby.. Maybe I should just try and 8.00 to see how it feels and all this is nonsense.

Edit the board has quite long nose and tail so the wheelbase comes really short

Here’s what I’m working with currently:

-WKND 8.0 Austyn Gillette deck
-Thunder 147 lights cranked way the hell down because I suck at skating
-52mm Formula Four classics
-Bones Swiss bearings
-Mob grip
-some sort of Allen key hardware

It does feel pretty close to the 8' it is listed as, measures just a hair under. PS are notorious for dubious sizing. The other thing that surprised me was that the tail is a normal 6.5ish and the nose is 7. It's been my experience with PS boards over the years that the smaller you go down in width, the tail and nose length shrink with it.

So far, so good, it's just that PS boards start to feel soft to me after a short time.

I think we may have the same Lucien, and I measured it at a 31.5. The 14" wheel base makes me feel like I have total control, unlike how longer wb make it feel like I'm riding a surfboard. I say stick with it for a few more sessions, it took a while to feel perfect. I have had the same dimension requirements as you do.
