If you use aircraft strip spray for sure be for sure to wear thick rubber gloves because it'll take your skin off way easier than it will take the paint off and it hurts like a motherfucker

When I was like 12 I had this shitty old guitar that I thought I could spray paint to look cool, because 12, and I found a can of aircraft stripper in the garage. I was like "cool this will work!" and just sprayed the fuck out of the guitar while I was holding it and standing against the wind. This big WWI cloud of death washed over the whole front of my body and set me on fire for like an hour.

no worries - its really easy and cheap! imagine acetone is 99cents and the aircraft stripper is like $5 a can

The black coat kinda came off in the acetone and i just picked and peeled. I recently aircraft stripped some old canteens I had that the pain was chipping way and it literally peeled off itself and was able to swipe it off

Wow those 44s fit pretty good on 8.6! Does not look goofy at all. Did you add more washers to the axles?

I have 2 stock ones on the inside of each wheel, they   seem thicker than normal ones to me too.

They are thicker. Around double the thickness. I have some 55's i going to throw in a 8.5 cause i thought 44s would be to short. The 55s felt a bit too much

passport 8.5 (that I had sitting on ice)
Ace 44s - the new ones
Wayward 54/101 GANG! model
Ninja Bearings
Shortys

Still getting used to the Aces coming from Thunders but I like the shorter wheelbase for sure. We'll see what they're like once they're broken in though, the bottom bushing kept popping when I was cruising around the other day which was freaking me out!
The waywards on the other hand ... thinking of reverting back to F4s just because power slides feel so much better/ easier/ more controlled

8.5 x 32.2 ish? With a 14.125 wheelbase.
It tapers too! It’s almost like a polar shape whose name I can’t recall at the moment but with a shorter wheelbase...
I think they just did another series of these for the summer? I was getting sick of shaped boards with monster wheelbases so this feels nice and whippy even for a 8.5

Before Quasi, FA, and WKND were those square shapes available? And were they even popular?

sounds pretty interesting, that's a short wheelbase for a board this long. i'd love to try it out, sucks that passport boards are unavailable in poland :/

I have this same deck sitting in the on-deck circle, but your 159's look like a better fit for it than my Thunder 149's. I'm wondering if I should bump up to a Thunder 151's?

159’s with a 8.5 and skinnier wheels feel great. i used to do 875 with 169’s and the .25 extra width of the trucks wasn’t noticeable and did not hot rod at all. i like the wider trucks for stability, 149’s just seem kind of squirley

Probably hard to get outside of Finland. No idea what the shipping costs are to elsewhere in the world but knowing Finland, probably outrageous. 🤔
