How are you liking the football shape? I've been very interested in trying one of them after the egg shaped boards thread. Does the 8.75 shape skate like an 8.5 the way it tapers? What's the wheelbase like? The new boards weren't up last time I checked the Polar site. Seems like it'd be a lot of fun
I don't really understand what's going on and I haven't read this thread yet, but I can tell I'm angry.

The wheelbase on this is 14.375 and feels basically like a normal board. The concave is medium. It tapers down to 8.2 so it feels like 8.25 really. Since it tapers the nose and tails feel slightly shorter.

They feel pretty fucking hard to me. Of course my Spitfires Lock ins feel harder though. They are both 99a. I prefer the SML 54mm over the lock ins on rough ground.

I have been riding the sml Ag formula for a while  They are a good middle ground for me. Not too soft that they Flatspot but not so hard that they rattle your teeth on crusty spots. Plus I hate spit and bones so I stick with them

I’ve had lock-in and they seem way harder which I like maybe it’s just getting used to a new wheel which I haven’t Done in along time .

SML runs two different formulas and it's confusing as shit. I know what you're talking about, they have one formula that feels slow and sticky. Like soft gum balls. I had a set of Knox travel series that were liked that. Terrible. Then they have the "OG" formula that is legit. I have a set of Suciu "mother nature" series that are amazing. It's confusing and I don't know why they do it.

Some great looking setups on this page. Twist - I've told you this before, I like your approach. You March to the beat of your own drum.

It’s pretty square, but it’s kind of tapered so it’s not completely flat, it’s nice imo

Of course that’s the wheels I purchasesd . The grocery bag set . 1st day I had them on the streets I was about to throw them out . My lock number that Ive been skating since May feel better but they are good for the Park I’ve been skating . Unless I knew what to buy I’ll stick to spits . That’s what I get for not being loyal . Thanks for th info

Dwindle is the most reliable shapes for me. I know I can get any random 8.25 dwindle board and not hate it. The label said steep kick mellow convabe, but it does not look that steep to me. The nose and tail have a even height. The shape is more pointy than round. Similar to a JK industries shape.

The dwindle consistency is great, I've been trying to find a Dwindle 'Full' shape, medium (or Full) concave steep kick out in the wild to stand on but I can't see to find one.

I really hate to say this but it looks like the only place I've been seeing them lately is at mall shops.

I'm pretty sure none of my local spots cary anything from Dwindle, the only exception being the fucked up blind kids rereleases.
