I don't really understand what's going on and I haven't read this thread yet, but I can tell I'm angry.
The wheelbase on this is 14.375 and feels basically like a normal board. The concave is medium. It tapers down to 8.2 so it feels like 8.25 really. Since it tapers the nose and tails feel slightly shorter.
Digging that grip job CG
I have sml wheels , let me know if you find them to be soft ? I like em in the park but not in the streets . I guess I’m just used to the f4 spits .

I prefer the SML 54mm over the lock ins on rough ground.

How boxy is the tail on that Sandoval, moe? I was looking at that as the replacement for when I run out of these welcomes I’ve stripped back

I know what you're talking about, they have one formula that feels slow and sticky. Like soft gum balls. I had a set of Knox travel series that were liked that. Terrible. Then they have the "OG" formula that is legit. I have a set of Suciu "mother nature" series that are amazing. It's confusing and I don't know why they do it. Some great looking setups on this page. Twist - I've told you this before, I like your approach. You March to the beat of your own drum.

when you see cartoons on boards at skate shops, and you ask yourself "who is this for"ITS ME... the answer is me!Also that city stars deck was heavier than normal. It I had a hard time doing flat tricks, and was not getting any rotation on the like 4 flip ins I knowSuperior (dwindle brand) 8.25Destructo trucksCrupie WheelsDiamond BearingsBronze HardwareJessupDC shoes Plaza
Dwindle is the most reliable shapes for me. I know I can get any random 8.25 dwindle board and not hate it. The label said steep kick mellow convabe, but it does not look that steep to me. The nose and tail have a even height. The shape is more pointy than round. Similar to a JK industries shape.
