I have sml wheels , let me know if you find them to be soft ? I like em in the park but not in the streets . I guess Iím just used to the f4 spits .
They feel pretty fucking hard to me. Of course my Spitfires Lock ins feel harder though. They are both 99a. I prefer the SML 54mm over the lock ins on rough ground.

Iíve had lock-in and they seem way harder which I like maybe itís just getting used to a new wheel which I havenít Done in along time .

SML runs two different formulas and it's confusing as shit. I know what you're talking about, they have one formula that feels slow and sticky. Like soft gum balls. I had a set of Knox travel series that were liked that. Terrible. Then they have the "OG" formula that is legit. I have a set of Suciu "mother nature" series that are amazing. It's confusing and I don't know why they do it.

Some great looking setups on this page. Twist - I've told you this before, I like your approach. You March to the beat of your own drum.

Of course thatís the wheels I purchasesd . The grocery bag set . 1st day I had them on the streets I was about to throw them out . My lock number that Ive been skating since May feel better but they are good for the Park Iíve been skating . Unless I knew what to buy Iíll stick to spits . Thatís what I get for not being loyal . Thanks for th info

ITS ME... the answer is me!

Also that city stars deck was heavier than normal. It I had a hard time doing flat tricks, and was not getting any rotation on the like 4 flip ins I know

Dwindle is the most reliable shapes for me. I know I can get any random 8.25 dwindle board and not hate it. The label said steep kick mellow convabe, but it does not look that steep to me. The nose and tail have a even height. The shape is more pointy than round. Similar to a JK industries shape.

The dwindle consistency is great, I've been trying to find a Dwindle 'Full' shape, medium (or Full) concave steep kick out in the wild to stand on but I can't see to find one.

I really hate to say this but it looks like the only place I've been seeing them lately is at mall shops.

I'm pretty sure none of my local spots cary anything from Dwindle, the only exception being the fucked up blind kids rereleases.

Are they more uncomfortable then the Regular pro insoles? And what do you use as replacements? Iím interested in trying that shoe.

I wouldnít trust the medium unless your more into a flat kinda board

The full is so awesome, I love the full shape from dwindle so much. Reminds me of old real or anti hero before the wheelbases got bigger and the shapes too.

Donít get me wrong I still like deluxe wood but that 14.38 wheelbase is not my normal legs width of space when Iím standing so I gotta power through for the flips

yeah it's BBS. the concave is amazing. i'd say rather on the steeper side
but feels perfect. i come from a REAL spree and i'd say it is steeper than
them. if a little more/steeper concave is your thing: highly recommended.

what is the wheelbase on that Isle?
i think the wheelbase on that isle is 14.5

not significantly more uncomfortable, no.  I just dont love how cramped they make the shoe feel in the toe area because of the stiff dura-cap.  If the fit of the regular Vans pro shoes dont bother you, these wont bother you either.  I just threw in a Nike Zoom Air insole and they feel great... but I've also used an #NB insole from a 533 v.2 and that's been good too.

I like the extra support of the new insole.  I haven't been able to wear vans daily in a while, my last pair were the rowley slims.  When the cushioning on those packed out (too fast), my feet were done.  These are actually wearable for me for a whole day.  There is a bit of a pressure point for me on the top of my foot where the front of the shoe creases if I wear thick socks.

What's the 'custom' portion and was it added cost/did you have to buy in bulk?

I picked the shape, mold and dims out based it on my favorite shapes this is 8.25" with a 14" wb, 7" nose and 6.5" tail - bought in bulk to sell to local shops and friends but never really advertised since WKND came out shortly after
