listened to this whole album after catching part of the austin city limits set from the weekend.

stoked to find out today that the band "the beths" from new zealand are playing here this weekend at a super small venue.

New project from Seth Sutton from Useless Eaters. Kinda choppy, weird post-punk stuff. I think it's pretty solid. Some pretty cool instrumentals and sounds.

Been listening to the first three Wire albums a lot lately.

Also just found these guys Bingo Trappers on spotify and I really dig their song "Popcorn Queen". No youtube link though. It's pretty cool garage/proto punk/psych stuff.

That trilogy of Wire records is monstrous, and along with CAN's records (delay 1968 - Soon Over Babaluma) and Talk Talk's later trilogy of records (Colour of Spring - Laughing Stock) are my biggest musical influences.

I've been feeling this hard. This track in particular gives me somewhat early Modest Mouse or Ugly Casanova vibes.. I'm sure it's just the reverse guitar mostly.
