been on a proto-punk obsession lately... seems to fit these crappy "raining on my days off" weekends

Debris-One Way Spit

Debris - Leisurely Waiting

George Brigman - Jungle Rot

ELECTRIC EELS - Refrigerator

LOOSE HEART - Alone (KILLER FRENCH '76 PUNK!)

Jack Ruby - Hit & Run

The Stench Band - The Bastard Song

and this amazingly bad ass French heavy punk/metal band Soggy... this shit is amazing

soggy - waiting for the war (1981)

Been trying not to listen to this song so much out of fear that I'll get tired of it but I like it a lot.

Father John Misty is fucking amazing.  His solo work is quite good, released under the moniker J. Tillman, but his lighter work as FJM is light, clever, funny, tragic, romantic.  He is probably my favorite lyricist right now.  He's like a modern day Bob Dylan or Harry Nilsson.  If you guys haven't heard his new album I love You, Honeybear, get it.  It might take a few listens but you'll fall in love with it.
