Stumbled upon these guys at SXSW the other day. They kinda suck, but I like the music. And I'd totally bang the chick.

It's been a while.

Damn, it's been awhile for me now too. Gonna have to give that a re-listen tomorrow.

For me currently:

Kind of embarrassing possibly, but I still think it's a good album, and haven't listened to it in at least a year or two.

new autolux album. i listened to it in pieces at work and i think i need a few more plays before it really sinks in, but for the most part its really solid. a little different sounding, but still really good. the drum beats really stood out to me on this one.

Fattest, dreamiest groove:

Don't mean to sound like a hippie (or maybe I do), But I just wanna crawl inside this song and live there.

Skateboarders drove heavy rock n roll like Sabbath and newer stoner rock into the fucking ground, but somehow completely missed Blue Cheer. Their loss.

Deftones - Gore

Deftones are maybe my favourite band (top 3 at least) but i'm getting mixed feelings with this album. The first singles were kinda meh and i was not that hyped for it. After 2 spins i'm starting to like it more, hopefully it will grow on me even more. Last song, Rubicon, is dope, my favourite one for now.

new future of the left. this is from a 6 song ep that just dropped today. i feel like theyve been hit and miss since their second album, and this ep definitely keeps that hit and miss thing going with only 3/6 songs being decent. maybe it will grow on me. this song goes pretty hard though. they dropped a full length last week that i was unaware of until today, so hopefully thats a more solid effort.

I had always heard the Mummies live were so much better than on records... and being that I love their records, their live shows must've been godlike.  Looks like it to me.
