Also, paired Bob Ross with Clarissa's Weird for a while. Play these two videos over each other without muting either (after the intro theme to Joy of Paiting anyway), see if it makes sense to you like it does to me.

Views From the 6. Not impressed, the Drake album I enjoyed the least so far.

rip ricky wilson. i really want to learn how to play this song, but he uses such weird tuning and its a pain to turn for one song. i probably just need to get another guitar.

Wikipedia says the cramps formed in 76 and put their first album out in 80. B 52's formed in 77 and dropped their first album in 79.

Flawless album. RIP to a legend.

This is also great. Their later stuff is still slept on.

Also played this today. Just felt fitting for the world lately.

Most Teasers/Wallers is especially fitting as of late. I find myself listening to Destroy All Human Life very frequently.

Alan Vega also had some great solo stuff in the early 80's, kinds Suicide-abilly:

my favorite Suicide live performance... this shit is hypnotic:

Country Teasers are always fitting for this fucked up place... BR Wallers/The Rebel is currently touring the U.S.  For some reason not coming to the Bay Area

Never seen Wallers live. Need to make that happen.

Alan Vega also made an album with Alex Chilton and Ben Vaughn called Cubist Blues that's criminally slept on.

I've missed Wallers the past two times he's come to Texas thanks to either work or school. A friend of mine's band played with him both times, and Wallers told him he was never coming back to the States after the last time. Now that it's been a couple years he's back, and I live 6 hours away and have a final at 8 am the next morning. Never should've gone back to school.

hey Gramps just saw that The Rebel is going to be playing in Austin on the 10th and San Antonio on the 11th.  I know you're in Tejas so hopefully those are close?  Wallers is a must see!

I'm stoked I got Hank Wood and the Hammerheads playing the day after my birthday next month.  I didn't see them last time I was here and I heard it was mayhem:

Yeah, I wish I could see him. I'm 6 hours from Austin and 7 hours from SA. Might be able to swing it if I can take my final a day early.

I'll be missing The Rebel in Austin at the exact same time I'm missing Brainbombs in LA.

NOT STOKED AT ALL.
