Been listening to the latest from High On Fire, when I heard it when it came out I was kinda meh about it. Gave it another chance recently and it rules

Hell yeah, Ducifer. Unfortunately the rest of their album is pretty terrible. The song I posted is the first track, so I felt like I was in for something really good, but I just couldn't get past the lyrics. Theres feminist themes all over the album (duh, its called femejism), and I've got nothing against that, but the song writing is just too immature for me to really get into. Theres some sick guitar riffs, but nothing that quite matches the energy of the first track.

Whatever, on to something good. I found this band on my spotify discover playlist this week and I havent stopped playing this album since I heard it. Super solid rock and roll/garage stuff.

Not listening to my usual depressing music which really surprises me. Made a playlist for my radio show and I've been having it on repeat, specifically these 2 tracks

Nothing I do deserves more than an iphone camera.

Sick band. An ex lady of mine was really into them and convinced me to go see them a few years ago and I was pleasantly surprised.
Listened to this record for the first time in a good while. It was one of my favorites when I was a youngin.

Ha, that shit was on heavy rotation 95 rap city. I was in dys til Aug so got to suffer through that garbage as well as some decent crap.
Was in Tempe yrs later & tgis jersey couple were playing the cassette or cd unironically. He's got another so g chorus goes 'aawaaw shit, shit!'
They were vegans w/ supposedly Dickensian upbringing but that music threw their parents Fagin-like qualities into question

I heard this Fennesz and Sakamoto album on Sirius in a rented car. I never listen to Sirius. But despite it sounding somewhat like movie music, I still liked it:

Which led me to listen to Sakamoto's work, which I love:
