Krawn the Destroyer

I tend to forget this song exists and then I'll rediscover and listen to it over and over

Leonard Cohen - Everybody Knows (Audio)
Everybody knows that the dice are loaded
Everybody rolls with their fingers crossed
Everybody knows the war is over
Everybody knows the good guys lost
Everybody knows the fight was fixed
The poor stay poor, the rich get rich
That's how it goes
Everybody knows

New Broken Social Scene

It's gotten pretty good reviews mostly, but so far I only really like a few songs off it.

Been listening to this playlist on spotify for the past two days. It's all underground heavy psych/proto metal stuff from the late 60's - early 70's. Tons of great stuff that I've never heard.

Stone Axe - Slave of Fear/Snakebite (1971)

Jodo - I'm Still Trying

Dead Drunk Screamin'

New Baths song!

www.youtube.com/watch?v=8zXOz0_XpQo

It's a theme song for a Dad dating game, that I don't think actually exists.

My mistake, it's a theme song for a Daddy dating game that totally exists:

Did you ever hear that Jerusalem LP that was reissued a little while back?  Heavy as fuck!

lately been listening a to of The Equals, one of the most underrated bands of the 60's.  Their singer, Derv Gordon, is currently touring with some young mod band and it sounds great based on the footage I've seen on youtube:

THE EQUALS "Stand Up And Be Counted" promo video UPGRADE 1972

the equals green light

The Equals - Police On My Back (Beat Club)

new live stuff (with mod babes!!)

Derv Gordon of The Equals with So What - Green Light (5-19-17)

was it the one from the early 70's or one that was released in the 2000's? I've only heard their first one from the 70's and yes, it was fucking heavy. i always look for the reissue whenever i go to the record store, but no luck so far. someone from this thread actually turned me onto that band.

definitely going to check out that equals stuff today.

another album that i want to kick myself in the ass for never listening to: Change Today? by T.S.O.L. i knew some of their stuff from punk-o-rama comps i had as a kid, but I never listened past that stuff which was pretty classic punk sounding. this album is super gothy, which i really love.

TSOL - Flowers By The Door

Yeah the 70's band.  I picked up the LP reissue (i think it was 4 men with beards that released it?) and fuck that thing is a monster.

TSOL are one of those bands that everybody knows but I still feel like they're underrated.  Everybody has heard Code Blue (baby's first punk song) but they were way, way better than a lot of those so-cal bands that grew out of that stale hardcore scene.  Dance With Me and Beneath the Shadows are goth-punk classics (and quite possibly the best outside of Christian Death).

T.S.O.L.- Silent Scream - YouTube

The Untouchables | Soundtrack Suite (Ennio Morricone)

It's hardly subtle, but it's a powerful soundtrack for a powerful movie. Both are favorites of mine.
