Hate on me if you want but old Modest Mouse is suiting my mood right now
i used to love this band when it was all about depression

when Brock did drugs his lyrics were so sick. Building nothing out of something is so good.

There should be a movie about his life (specifically the drugs part) wasnt he also left alone by his Mom in his house until he got evicted?
When does that come out?
if the mods were wu-tang, dean would be cappadonna

Not to talk shit on Wayne, I love the Flaming Lips and hanging less than 6 feet from me right now is a poster of the cover to The Soft Bulletin, but that movie is the Fully Flared of weird indie rock films. When you google "Christmas on Mars", one of the first things you get back is this old news line from the Lips' site: "The Flaming Lips' first feature film, 'Christmas on Mars' will be available in time for Christmas in 2003." Apparently it's supposed to premiere at South by Southwest next year, which is cool, but it's been a long time coming.

I listen to a lot of OG East Coast Hip-Hop. Wu-Tang all day. Mobb Deep, NaS, et cetera. Classic rock, too. The Stones, Beatles, Van Morrison and the like. Oh, and 70's soul/r&b. OV Wright, Curtis Mayfield, Al Green, all that.
