fucking a. i need to get all my dad's fania all stars, willie colon, and pete rodriguez lps. my family back in medellin have a whole slew of amazing records from as far back as the early 40s. they have been in storage in one of my grandfather's (r.i.p.) house. i want to call my aunts to see if they can fed ex them my way. they never listen to them, but they are very anal about giving stuff away. sentimental value i guess.

other than wolf parade, DFA, and the odd interpol song on my guitar, I've been listening to exclusively hip hop lately.
