Element decks
« on: April 29, 2007, 02:35:02 PM »
Was just wondering what they are like........a lot of my friends have been saying that they are made in china and that they break easily etc. Just wondering if it's true or not as there is one in my local skateshop going for £30. 7.75.

you've been skating since '02 and you're seriously considering buying an element?

I've been skating since 96 and I've skated an Element deck recently, what does that mean? I'll skate anything with a good shape.

And now I would get one to support Tim Tim!

Back when they were done through giant the boards were amazing. I haven't ridden one recently though.
Are you a kook? If you would say this, the answer is “YES”

I had a Jeremy Wray last week and the shape was absolutely perfect. Didn't seem as solid and the Elements I rode back in the day but I was stoked to be supporting Wray.

elements are the worst boards i have had, and a lot of their graphics look like alien / habitat ripoffs. My buddy had a tish ice board and the graphic thing came right off in a week. Helieun is the most retarted shit too. Element is terrible.

Havent ridden an Element board since 2002, but from 1996-2001 i rode them pretty consistently, the wood was solid and the FeatherLight concave was just perfect. I've pretty much ridden Heroin boards for the past few years now, i'd rather put my money into Fos's pocket instead of what Element's become these days.

you would think the best-selling board company would make great wood, but...

haven't seen one for awhile, but from the bird's eye view of the decks in their ads, some shapes are real nice

habitat/AWS pricepoints are made in china and begin with the sku (#CKW0000000) or something like that.  some team are made in china and some in the USA.  all their pro models are made in the USA, and have the sku (#PS00000000).  now some of their newer boards are being made in canada with the sku (#CA00000000).  just check the top of the board.

i had a Rupp board about a year ago...i thought it would be horrible; it had a layer of hemp cloth glued to the bottom of the board with the graphic printed on it.  The board was actually really good, and it lasted over a month
