5 years ago when I used to stay with Andrew Reynolds's on Sunset, Alex and Spanky were like two constant presences. Early in the morning, while I was sleeping on the couch Alex would come in, put on a skate video and ask me stupid questions, "do you know Brian Wenning?" "what's Fred Gall like?" and I would be so bummed. At the time he lived with the girl from the movie The Stoned Age (my favorite movie), the girl that looked like the chick from the Virgin Killer's album. I used to try and get him to invite me over to party with her but he wouldn't let me. I remember he had long hair, and he was a good skater, but I don't remember ever thinking "someday this kid is gonna be a famous skater." For a little while Alex and I had a falling out because I reprinted some e-mails he wrote me on my website to show how poor of a typer he is, they were totally indecipherable, but I blame Steve Olson home schooling more than
Alex's lack of brains, Alex is actually really smart. Anyway, Alex
went from someone I thought of as a dumb kid to 'one of my favorite skaters ever' very fast.

line at the girl park was the absolute best skatepark footage ive ever seen. those backtails were too smooth. him and dylan rieder are the two best amateur skaters around

That whole thing was pretty sweet. Actually, the show for the most part has been really good and generally not embarrassing to watch at all. Kudos to Pat for that.

Oh, and Alex sounds a lot like Jason Dill when he talks...

Probably not that Rad his dad was a drug addict, i read some interview with him that said he didn't really even know his dad till he was a teenager. His real name isn't even alex olson, They made that up at girl It's alex parker.

Get a life. Who cares if someone was a drug addict? You need to learn how to read. He didn't live with his dad till he was 11. Parker was his mom's last name, his real last name would be his fathers, Olson.
