No sound for most videos

I get sound on quicktime and windows media player, but not on anything else (youtube, google video, etc.) It happened one day when I was deleting stuff from Add/Remove Programs. Pisses me off. Any ideas are appreesh'd.

try deleting your flash stuff and reinstalling it
