I know this is pretty out of date. But do Owen Wilson really skate, from youtube footage's feeback, it seems like Koston is the guy to do that noseslide in Wilson's cameo.

Then I found out in some entry in Wilson's imdb page quoted he actually is a talented skateboarder. If this is the case why Koston had to do the thing for him anyway??

There's skating scene in one of his works though. What is the deal....

I haven't watched yeah right in a while. but owen wilson did about half the tricks, and koston did the others.

at least on the extended dvd feature, owen did a lot of the tricks.

Owen Wilson did not do any of the tricks nor has he ever skated. Girl was supposed to get Mike Myers to do the part but then he backed out and the got Wilson as a replacement. He had a script for the part and had no idea what he was talking about.

hahah that's awesome. I remember when yeah right first came out I actually thought it was him skating. he sure sounded like he knew what he was talking about though.

i always thought he was down with koston because koston is slightly famous, having an MTV cribs and other shit. i never new it was scripted either, i just assumed wilson was down with skating for some reason because all those guys would talk about it or something. but i never for a second believed that he bluntslide that rail.
