World Industries
« on: June 04, 2007, 02:38:06 AM »
I was just looking at their website today and I really think they should change their whole image and start a fresh. I mean they still have those gay ass graphics, use that shitty stiff glue construction (instead of the resin epoxy stuff) and chinese wood unlike the other dwindle brands who use canadian maple (i think) . they also need a pro team, seeing as their old pro team either all got kicked of or more likely left. If they dont do that then they should just call it quits or sumthin. I mean blind use to be in the same position a few years back but now they have a strong american and european team. they also make good decks now unlike when they use to use the stuff they still make world industries deck with. also turn kurtis colamonico pro fs! oh yeah another thing. make decks above 7.7!

world industries revolutionized skateboarding in its time, now it has become the most irrelevant company in the industry.

In China Dwindle is refered to as World Indutries ... Guess it sounds cooler.

I'm just curious; why, when there are a ton of good brands to get behind, would you want World Industries to "start fresh"?

World does have the history. If it weren't for flameboy and shit World would have gone down as one of the most legendary companies ever. I guess that's why you could hope for them to do better. Seeing them like this is just shameful.

because in the 90's they were huge and had one of the best teams! just a shame to see them bring out soo much crap now. just want them to make sum sort of comeback seeing as they have a ton of money behind them.

I miss the old world. If they completely redid their image, they would be the shit.

world could never be like it once was ....it was epic in it's day and hopefully will just fade away.  When the times right something/someone else will rise up and fill the void left

Looking forward to this so
