Morgan Campbell
This is bizarre it is like he is just taking the Krew/Supra approach to marketing, but using it in his own pursuit of sponsorship letting the lifestyle shots do all the work.

this should not turn in to the 'pro's you talked to'-thread
[close]
how else can you judge whether or not someone is a decent dude?
internet rumors?
[close]

i meant that speaking a guy while he signs your board is not enough to judge.

dude even if you only talked to a pro for a minute or two, you can tell if they are cool dudes or not. i mean if they are just acting like a dick ( take zered bassett for example) you dont need to talk to them for long. but i talked to jeron wilson for a while and that dude is probably the nicest guy ive met.

Most pros I've met have been really nice people, down with talking and skating with whoever etc - a much shorter list would be those who are dicks (but this isn't the place for that) - but the Barca locals can give a good starter list with some names that surprised me!

Some standouts for me are anyone who hails / skates in bristol UK (Danny Wainwright etc) - such a friendly scene.

A lot of Aussie skaters - Renton Millar etc - are down to earth nice guys

Pat Duffy - came up and started randomly talking to me at Marseilles when I lived there, nice guy and it stoked me out because, well, he's Pat Duffy and was so friendly

Javier Sacriemento (sp) - friendly as

I agree with whoever mentioned Morgan Campbell, and will add that most UK skaters on UK board companies are pure skate rats just because they don't make a lot of $ in England - so are totally down to earth

Oh I could go on and on!! Fortunately there are a *lot* of nice guys out there!

Of course I'm serious! Never seen him be even slightly malicious, and he's down for a good party too.

Oh I know he is, as I've chilled with him before - I should have seperated the sentences out a bit there!

Bit of a flow-of-consciousness thing, as he skated for Blueprint the UK company so I just segued to the next bit without really making it clear I was making two seperate points!

The couple of times I've been around with Devine he was just really quiet.  Nice kid, just really quiet.  Sean Malto is sort of the same way, although when you first meet sean, he seems to talk a little more.  Both seem really cool and laid back dudes though.
