Got a pair of Geoff Rowley Vans for pretty cheap and they are really fun to skate.  No break in time required.   Not stoked:  after 5 sessions the rubber on the toe is all the way through from flip tricks.  Most shoes i've skated last longer than that.

Dad quit his job after only two months, and it was really the only thing allowing my mom and him to live where they do (which is not a great place). Mom is probably going to be pretty broke and broken after this, and my younger brother is potentially going to come live with me. The first part is the super fucking not stoked on, but the second part should be at least semi-fun.

got really drunk on sunday night, threw up in my bed and slept in it, woke up to found out i'd shit and pissed myself.

i have a girlfriend.

it's been an interesting week.
skating is all about choosing your outfit very deliberately, going out in public. looking super sick. and then riding your board a little bit

Started smoking weed again. It's been a good few years since I've done it this consistently. I quit because it just didn't feel good anymore but now it's starting to feel nice again.

Skated for the first time in a week. Was feeling really good and landing all the stuff I wanted to.

Right before I was going to leave I decided to ollie across the box one last time. I did it twice landing with my foot slightly off but I wanted it perfect. I went as fast as I could, landed just before the flat and flew onto my side. My right hand palm ripped up across it. My body fell ontop of my left arm aswell. Bruised the fuck out of my shoulder. My elbow is swollen and it jammed into my ribs. My wrist was right under my hip taking all its weight. Its grazed to fuck across my knuckles and I'm having trouble moving my thumb and fingers.

Driving home was fucking hard. I could barely push the gear stick hard enough to get into gear.

when texting a woman in her early 30's, is it appropriate to use the word "stoked"?

Got three boxes of Froot Loops for a dollar each due to some denting on the boxes. Way fucking stoked on that. Not so stoked on how stoked I am, because it means I'm fuckin' poor.

Scored a work/study/housing internship in NYC while I was down there this summer. It starts in 2 weeks. In the meantime I'm stuck in the suburbs with my crazy senile parents.

2 weeks baby, 2 weeks.

Hahaha, I've never quite got to the shit yourself stage before. Oh, and where are the pictures of this girl? We're waiting...

The other night I went to a party and took half a gram of mephredrone, drank a big bottle of Apple Sours someone gave me, had about 6 or 7 cans of beer and smoked a couple of joints whilst feeling completely sober, before throwing up about ten times on a road sign and waking up with half a sandwich in my mouth.

It was a good night.

Back to working for my university's newspaper and making money for photos.

I was supposed to be assistant photo editor (nice for a resume), but they scrapped the title so now I'm just another photographer.

jammed my toe or something, slipping off a manny pad putting all my weight on it.  didn't hurt last night at all, now today it hurts to push, this just coming off a sweet hipper after getting pitched going too fast at too sharp of an angle on some tranny.  that slam was at least fun/funny though.  stoked i have 8 medical cookies left and my friends are coming over to jam

Lost our dog on saturday night a couple blocks from our house. Looked for hours/put posters up. I see a craigslist ad saying they found him, took him home/took care of him and took him to the vet the next day, sunday morning. The vet said he'd be safer there and so they kept him at the vet. The woman who found him doesn't respond to any of my emails for hours, untill the vet is closed. She also lives 45 minutes away. Then the vet calls and says to pick up or dog because he's been there for a few days and they can't take care of him anymore???wtf is going on, seems like we are about to be scammed.

Not happy being sick but love sick days from work!

edit: Couldn't this thread be called "things you are ambivalent about?"
