I'm starting to get to the point where my body feels old.

I can't skate for more than 3-4 hours in a day anymore and that's only getting out there 3 days a week.

I hurt both my hip flexors over 6 months ago and they're still messed up.

Bursitis in one knee, and my big toe on my push foot aches after every session.

I'm pretty fuckin stoked to have learned frontside wallies though.
ill murray, can you remind me why you think im a kook

Switch wall maneuvers seem pretty hectic, good for you ST

stoked that apparently (I literally just realized) that I was born on Christmas across the pond (I was born Christmas eve in the evening in California) but I'm not really Christian or anything so I don't sort of know why it should matter.

Just finished my last day of high school, this is the first major transition for me in quite a while, my feelings are mixed and my best friend is moving to New York for college. Cry me a river, hopefully JC isn't so bad for just 1 year.

i got all these used rigs laying around [what am i gonna leave em at a playground?] and my mother's always telling me to get rid of them. not stoked. half my bearing covers were falling off so i was trying to get em all off and used rigs work wicked good for that. just get the needle in  there and pop it like a skinnier screwdriver. i like finding alternative uses for stuff.

I had sex with two aliens in disguise when I was a teenager, first one was awesome second one not so much, but anyways I'm pretty sure that's why I got schizophrenia and they won't leave me alone.

Oh and let me tell ya- Alien pussy gets the little "a-okay" emoticon from Facebook. At least when you're not using a condom.

Just quit my job. Two weeks ago I'd put in my notice that I'd be leaving in July or August since I'm a good employee. Ended up quitting today instead.

I'm stoked because my boss was an insane alcoholic asshole. There were at most four employees of the company at any time. I was there for a little over a year, and eleven people cycled through in that time. These tended to be skilled professionals, not people hired through a temp agency. All but one were fired. He would fire people via text message too. For just about nothing each time. Our boss would literally tremble all day every day from being a piece of shit alcoholic, and would lose his shit at people for no reason. You weren't safe after work or on weekends either, because he would find something wrong and call to bitch. I woke up this morning and decided I was over dealing with that shit, so I wrote him a very polite email thanking him for the opportunity. Ive never quit not face-to-face before, but remember, he fires people through texting. Fuck him.

Mainly I'm stoked, but now I have to find a job for one or two months before I move. And I just smoked weed for the first time in almost a year two nights ago, so I can't just go out today and pass a drug test. Great timing!

Good for you man, shitty bosses are the worst.

Stoked- I don't slam particularly often.

Not Stoked- When I do it's usually pretty bad.  I've been off the board for 10 days now after smacking the top of my knee.  It's healing but I'm getting antsy.

I'm kind of in this boat and I've had to mellow out.

I started skating again on a regular basis about a year ago and got up to skating a few times a week for 3-5 hours. I was proud of myself but my body fucking hurt nonstop, for days. I was limping for almost a month but kept skating. The only thing that made me finally slow down was getting hit by a car.

Now I'm back to skating once a week, maybe twice if I'm lucky, and I feel fucked up for days. I just skated two days in a row Sunday and Monday, and my body's fucked. But I'm going to try to work back up to 3-4, but just pay more attention to my body.

The positive in this is I feel like I skate better than I have in years, if not ever, and I lost 50 pounds. I'm 28, my style is probably shaky as shit, and I don't jump done anything big anymore but I'm still learning new tricks, and nothing has come close to how much fun I have skating.

somebody put a fucking sticker on my car but it came right off with ease. i'm saying it was aliens but who knows. they probably would've set the alarm off doing it no? it had perfect placement and was on the roof rack. i doubt anyone stood out there not setting the car alarm off not getting any bubbles whatsoever and just happened to have a sticker the perfect size for the rail of my roof rack. gotta be alien technology for that to magically appear a few hours after the sun came up (i'd been out to smoke and didn't notice it 45 minutes earlier)

i had a 97 escort in seafoam green back in the day and someone put a sticker that said JETPOWER right on the front of the hood. it wasnt a big sticker, and i thought it was kind of funny, so i left it, but i never found out who put it there. a few weeks later, the same sticker appeared on my back bumper. im sure it was one of my friends or someone i worked with at the time, but i never found out who it was.

making your own stickers is fun. we hooked my buddy up w/ 'i'm not gay but my boyfriend is' and down in NOLA i usedta get this neighbors car w/ 'fuck the regular' and 'necrophilia is not a crime'.
his black coworkers were like 'negrophilia, what the fuck is that?'
i'm lazy but this thread kinda got me inspired to make some more.

My local noodle shop has a dish called "The Nutty Professor". It's damn good but they don't put enough meat in it.

I mean what's the deal with that?

I smacked my head on concrete on Monday, for the first time in my life after 13 years of skating. For a few seconds I was really scared because it hurt like hell and my head was spinning, but after a while it was allright. Not stoked on that. I still landed my trick after that, so stoked on that.

my girlfriend invited her friend from work and her boyfriend over to our place for dinner last night. theyre both very christian, like engaged to be married and havent even kissed on the mouth yet christian, so i was a bit anxious to see how the night would turn out. it was actually a really good time and i think i really impressed them with my knowledge of swear words and ability to drink large amounts of alcohol. im stoked that everyone had a good time.

not stoked that im busy as fuck today at work with a wicked hangover.
