today i was on a mission to land a proper bs tailslide...........long story short i was consistantly sticking so i took 1 extra push and tried a bit harder ended up bs tailsliding for about 4 feet barley hanging on then finally slipped out on the my chest/arm.  my whole forearm is one big scrape.  im kinda stoked i actually slid one well.

i had the same expirience two months ago. I was getting into it and sliding a little but barely anything so i went faster andshifted my weight diffrently. I slid alot but i ended up slamming on my chin.I took about three of those until i did a proper one. Very worth it.

i saw a bat flitting around today.   problem was, it was 1pm and it was super bright and super hot outside.   i saw him flapping from across the street and crossed over to check him out.  poor little guy, he mustve been disturbed in his bed / cave / hideout.   i hope he found his way back.

then i saw a deer in a field while taking the train back to toronto.  but that was all good, because it was evening and he was in a field where he belongs

My philosophy professor's name is Rick Howard.

but...I'm pretty sure the real Rick Howard would do a better job teaching the class than this bumbling old disaster of a man.

So has the new ricky gervais movie that's coming out been discussed here?

Stoked cause it's a ricky gervais movie, not stoked cause the trailer didn't seem all that great, and the plot seemed kinda dumb.
Still holding out hope though.

Last year of school, still don't know how I feel about this. I hope I'll pass all the tests and get out of it asap.

I work for a law firm doing their computers at night as a side job. Last night the mexican cleaning lady who speaks almost no english sparked up a conversation with me and was telling me how good I look and that it looks like i've lost some weight.

Stoked on the compliment and after the conversation I'm pretty sure I could smash it.
Not stoked on how butt-ass ugly she is.

Finally traded my obese mountain bike for a sleek, swift road bike.

But it still needs a couple repairs, and I need to buy another lock so my roomie can't "borrow" my winter bike.

I found 'big trouble in little china' tonight on demand.  As much as I enjoy that movie, i'd much rather be able to fall asleep right now.

The fact that I work well under pressure.

I love the fact that I can write a paper 4 hours before it's due and still get a good grade on it, but I really hate the "what if" thoughts that run through my mind as I procrastinate/the potential that I actually might blow it this time around.

With that said, I'll write the other three pages of my paper tomorrow before class.  EA Skate is far more entertaining.

Me and my buddy had a sick sesh yesterday, skating toppled dressers and doors behind an old folks home.

Then on the way to a party, I tried to noseslide a toppled mailbox, in the rain.  My tailbone hurts like hell today.

That sucks. Some days my tailbone just hurt like hell, even if I havent hurt it or anything.

my hotel fell through (doubled in price overnight to almost 900 bucks), but i ended up booking a private room at this hostel-type place for only 400 bucks instead.  Its in a better area, i can skate to Potrero park, and I get a private bathroom.  the only drawback is that I have to sleep in a bunk bed.
