^^^FUCK!

i did a nollie noseblunt slide after a few weeks of trying
The worst part is HOW it happened. Some dumb little kid just walked and stood right in front of me as I was skating and as we collided my board went inside my foot and fucked up the tendons and such. I was so pissed.

Landed a few sloppy switch back 360's, but by the end of the night I had lost em already. Pretty difficult trick. Gonna have to practice em more. Oh, and a friend of mine learned front lip backside flip out. I know it's "tricks you learned", but still, I'd say that deserves a mention; such a sick and hard trick.

fakie hardflips(i know, ewww) but they're pretty easy if you got hardflips down, frontside 270 lip, and switch backside 360.

I'm trying!!  But it's not gonna happen for a while.  I got Nollie Noseslides down solid.  But I can't Nollie Heel worth shit.  It seems like the only way I can get the board to flip properly is to kick down with my heel.  The board flips and I catch it with my front foot, but my back foot is too low to get back on.  I need help.

Fs halfcab flip frontside noseslide (Like raymond molinar does but back to fakie not to regs)

That's a rad trick.  I do it without the flip all the time.  And back to fakie is just that much better.

Did a no comply double flip up two stairs first try as a fluke.  I can usually do just a regular no comply flip, though (only up 3 not 5 like Marisa).  I'm pretty hyped.

Maybe try to put your back foot on the corner of the tail. Harold Hunter put his foot on the toe side, I put my toes on the back corner. I guess it works both ways. Than just slam the board against the ledge. That's how I do it

Last weekend me and Devil on Enzyte skated an indoor park and we had this little table top set up on top of a wedge-kicker to flat (that leads to a quarter).

I spent most of my evening doing different types of blunt slides across it... I do blunt slides all the time, but never on anything with a considerable height, but with the assistance of the little kick I was getting regular, frontside and noseblunts pretty consistently. I could lock into back nose blunts every time (sometimes with my back foot not even touching the board) and back nose blunt the thing with just my foot on the nose... gonna revisit that soon and get it.

Anyway, this leads me to yesterday, when one of my friends brought a legit-sized bench-style box to skate... it's as high as a real bench, and after a number of failed attempts I figured out how to pop from flat and noseblunt something on the higher side (for me). I even figured out that if I can lipslide it, I can noseblunt slide it (...and land it as long as I can pop off the end of it vs. coming out early).

Anyway, super stoked... didn't learn a new trick, but now I see it completely differently and can take it around to more places now. Doubly stoked because next week I'm 35 and I've really had a resurgence in how I handle street skating. I've been feeling renewed and shit... jumping down stairs and hardflipping again. This is more of a "thing I'm stoked on" but I'm stoked at what I see as my own progression. Fucking loving it.

I've been able to BS Tail for a while now...but had never once gone to fakie.  Everytime I even thought about going to fakie I'd just fuck and end up slamming super hard.  Til today ;D  Did it first try!!!

Same here.  If you can picture your tail as a square, when I step off to no comply, I nudge my tail on the upper to middle right side so it hits first (I'm regular).  It's pretty simple once you get used to it.  I love the little secrets  behind tricks.  For example the other day, I was breaking down how to do 5-0 grind to switch crook to a couple of the new friends I made in Washington.  I just showed them the difference locking in at a slight angle made vs. straight.  After demonstrating, one of the guys almost made it in 3 except he had sprained his ankle a few days prior so it was messing him up.  Rad shit.
