Grim, I hear you on the feeling really great about skateboarding.  I'm feeling the love myself these days.  Still just relearning tricks.  Last two days=frontside nosegrinds (some would say overcrook, but it's the only way I ever learned to do them), switch tre (flipping properly, but still pretty random and inconsistent), heelflip and nollie heelflip (popped and caught).  Also, I've gotten a lot more comfortable with my crooked grinds on higher stuff (between thigh and groin height ledges).  I'm still bummed I'm turning 36 this year, but at least I know I'll keep skating regardless.

I'm stoked on the little 30-up club we have here. It's kind've shocking when you look around at some other forums and there are dudes our age that don't do anything involving getting all four wheels off the ground... grampa steez or something. Fuck that!

I'm trying to learn switch tres, I'm either really close or really, really fucking far away. That's a definite goal. w00t

yes! i'm hyped on the 30 and over progression, not that i'm quite there yet, but at 26 i've been learning more tricks than i was at 16, which i kind of never expected.  and i definately got love for the bs willy grind, but in my opinion you gotta do a nollie out of it for it to be legit.

How do you make front side shove its stay under your body like that? When I do them I have to jump back heaps and it makes it look ugly. Landed a nollie inward heel the other day after many paddlepops. Was worth it

It's all in the pocket man. I used to do the exact same thing, but put your toes in the little pocket where your board starts to curve up into the tail. Then just go through the motions like normal and boom! front shove! Once you figure exactly where to put your toes it'll stay under you every time.

I actually stomp down mostly instead of out in the middle of the tail (feet are pretty much ollie position for me).  Pops nice and consistent.  I hang my front foot off slightly when I do them switch, but it's the same motion.  Slow mo someone who has them good in a skate vid.  I'm drawing a blank at the moment, but if you look closely, you'll see what I mean about the stomp.

I landed a nollie front 360, it was pretty shitty though like only 270 with a pivot. They spin out like crazy a lot of the time though, I'm pretty uncomfortable with nollie in general so I'm pretty excited anyhow.
