switch pop shove. really hyped on this; the board used to flip on me every time and has laid me out on my back countless times. I finally figured out the foot placement.
[close]

and what is the foot placement? the same thing happens to me all the time

if there was a line drawn down the middle of the board from the nose to the tail, i put my back foot almost completely under the line, with my toes pointing towards the angle made between the imaginary line and the curve of the board. the front foot is in ollie position.

Front 360 shoves rolling in both directions...(finally landed a switch one after giving up on them years ago) They feel so awkward unless you get them just right and then it feels like magic

This isn't even a super good example, but whenever I think of doing this trick, I always think of the one Busenitz does here at 3:58. His front foot is pointed a little toward the nose at about 5/8 the way up the board and his back foot is either normal or pointed a little bit backward, thus making it seem like your feet are pointed slightly away from each other. I do this with the ball of my foot right in the middle of the tail.

Switch BS Tail!!  It was pretty terrible but I did it.  1:47

Also did some shitty fs feebles and bs tails on the jankiest barrier ever, which I've never done before.

Congrats on the sw back tail. I'll never make one.

That was a sick clip. That dude got pretty worked on the feeble, gnarly shit. I bet that was scary to watch.

KFC should give cockatiels with their variety bucket, so you can eat one bird and love another.

I want to get wallies on steeper surfaces. I can't get in the mindset of it all. Any tips?

Can you wallride (an actual wall not a steep bank)?  This helps greatly, but it isn't completely necessary.

Nah..not really. For a wallie, do you sort of pop on the ground then roll it over, or pop off the actual wall? that's pretty vague, but I dont really know.

theres a small amount of lifting your front wheels up as you approach the wall, but very minimal. Also, no actual ollie involved, the wall does everything, you just make your legs/the board go with the flow.

Yeah just ram that fucker straight into it. Lift up slightly and the wall will do all the work. So fun.

I skated the most tranny I have in awhile today and got blunt to back smith (just stall) and a real shitty blunt to back disaster. Also learnt how to slide blunts on tranny, been able to do them on banks for a while but i never thought i'd get one on tranny.
