My kickflips are all weird. When playing skate I usually make them sketchy and low or sometimes I don't flick it at all and it flips halfway with my front foot to far forward - it's so annoying, can't do nothing about it. Whats even weirder, 1 out of 4 times I flick and pop it really high and catch it mid air and land perfectly

Kickflips are essential.  Anyone who abandons them for switch flips should be ashamed.  Like that kid who cab cab both ways but can't bs 180.  Basics with style > awkward tech shit.

this is me!  i only do a kickflip like 3 times a month (because they are horrible) , i traded my kickflips for nollie heels and nollie flips.  but i dont regret it, i love the feeling of all nollie tricks

Same here. Only due to my fucked up ankle, if i don't roll it for a couple of months I can kickflip fine other than that they hurt too much so I just do them switch.

My friends and I thought it was a good idea to get some steel reserves and skate around at the park.
we were all pretty tipsy and it popped in to my head that I wanted to learn kickflip back smiths on this little foot high ledge so I tried and landed one perfectly third try. I got to drink and skate more often.
