no comply fs big spin
completely random, I was just screwing around one day and did it.

I either lose track of the board or don't pop it high enough whenever I try these. I did learn fakie no comply front shove and no comply f/s half cab  (fakie 43?) a few days ago just messing around. I've been trying to learn as many no comply variations as possible lately.

backstory: skating a long time, have never in my life had good kickflips.  fast-forward to now: i've been seriously neglecting any sort of street skating for the last few months, and have lost a shit-ton; it takes me a while to land tricks i usually have first try.  so i decided, in my very lowered state of skating, i need to relearn shit from the ground up.  so i started learning kickflips from scratch.  all my life i've had my front foot really weird when i set up for them--i can do kickflips onto or into whatever (kickflip back tail, back smith, etc) but they look dumb because of my foot, because it's really angled.  and when i do plain kickflips, they're floppy and low.  so i put my foot pretty much straight, like an ollie position, and made myself learn them like that.  and now, although they're not perfectly consistent, i have good kickflips.  poppy and caught well.  so even though i've lost everything else, the fact that i have good kickflips makes me so damn happy, i don't even care i've lost my other shit.  it'll come back.  plus, it's not like i haven't been skating, i've just been skating pools and ramps, so my tranny skills are best i've ever had them.  kickflips rule!

I've been trying to man up to mini ramp, I had a bad experience about 7 years ago, and I got a back slash. Baby steps, furious at this point but they bring me back when I would spend hours to days trying to ollie up curbs. I just need to get rock fakies, which is what I knocked myself out on flatbottom way back when, and I think everything else will start clicking.

rock to fakies suck, I always joke around about how bad I am at them but its a serious problem. I can't do them on anything 5' and up.

relearned back tails on ledges for the umpteenth time.  i can't seem to keep this trick--if i don't do it for a while, it goes away.  i don't skate ledges very often, so i basically have this trick for the day i relearn them, then lose it because i don't skate another ledge for a while.

street stuff is always like this for me--i lose tricks very easily.  on the other hand, i don't think i can lose tranny tricks.  if it were back tailslides on a ramp, i could do one no problem after not doing one for a year.  who knows.

Transition is easier. You actually have to be able to ollie to skate ledges.

You ollie in transition too? You're hard to make a point with, I understand that. But when you talk about skating transition you have absolutely no idea what you're talking about.

Switch FS Lipslide on a flat bar back to switch.  Pretty stoked on that one.

Also got in and slide a few switch bs tails this weekend.  I've wanted to do that trick for so long.  Hopefully I can get it soon.

I think you just have to find that sweet spot with your front foot, or just keep doing normal nose manuals and it'll come. The problem I had was getting to the end and it not flipping at all, like I would try flip it like a normal nollie flip and it would just shoot forward with no flip. I sort of just flick it more to the side, hopefully it doesn't look mobbed as fuck haha.

landed on some fakie hardflips, which are way easier than regular ones for me. I'm ready to just stop trying reg hardflips since the ones I do land I keep stomping the nose off the board.
