43 = 180 no comply - step off and pop it frontside
34 = 180 no comply - step off and pop it backside

Backside no complys are incomprehensible to me.

But I pop frontsides all day like there's no tomorrow.

it easier than you think.  its all about stepping off the right way.  alot of people think you gotta step off in the direction of a judo which makes it nearly impossible to land.
if you watch ray barbee(my hero!) do them, you'll notice he steps off in the direction of a heel flip, like is almost off the front of the nose and not to the side like most people think.
you should try them again, they're fun once you get the hang of them.  :)

sort of off topic but i got switch 43's which brings my grand total of switch tricks up to 5.  ;D  SFA!

I did a few full 34s (360) over the summer, but I lost that trick. I need to relearn it.
I'm also learning switch 43s, and they are fucking hard.

Is a 43 just a frontside 180 no comply?

I like to pop high ones and catch them in the air.

I can sometimes pop F/s 360 ones and rotate them fully in the air, feels good.

Hmm, B/s no-comply bigspins anyone? :)

that one to wallride at the garfield banks about a minute in was stunning. as were the rest of his variations.
steve reeves does super cool 43 tailslide reverts on all kinds of shit. (like the back wall at burnside) i'll try to find a good example.

backside bigspin no complys are so fun.  People think I'm weird when I do them but theyr'e actually pretty easy and fun. Plain old 43's and back 3 no complys are probly the funnest tricks in skating though.

i wore a hole in heel of my KSwiss doing those back in the day.  Learning no-complys  fucked up my ollie really bad though.  Everytime I went to ollie, my foot would step off.  It took me forever to learn how to ollie properly.

As far as I know, it's because the board spins 43 degrees, then back to forward, equalling a 43 Shifty

whoever mentioned putting your foot in a heelflip position when doing BS no-complys was right.  I tried it today and it puts the board in just the right place.  I didn't land one, but I came really close (and I can barely even walk right now).

glad to hear my tip helped out.  :)

its very rewarding when you land one clean but it gets you kind of dizzy if you practice them over and over.
the 360 ones are cool but one day i want to learn 34 shifties...now thats a toughie.
