This thread is the best thing on this board at the moment. Good sound business talk/advice, and outright positivity for new companies, and the general support of skateboarding.
The thing with TURF is... it's almost the opposite of what I normally look for in a skate company, in terms of team (York and Kelch aside), but the way they've done it, the message and product they put out (having Bob K doing the art direction doesn't hurt either) get's me stoked on the company. I back them fully, and now they're putting 8" boards out I hope to pick one up as soon as I find somewhere out here in NY that's stocking them.

And Sanch: what you said rings true. If you back what you've put out, and brake even financially I think you're more than a success business wise in skateboarding. It's nice to make money, but it's better to sleep easy at night and be proud of what you've put out, and who you've supported.
