Cashback - great chick flick to watch with your girl since it's got tons of titties, but ends with a great and very romantic ending to justify titties.
The Host - seconded, assuming you don't mind subtitles
Death Race 2000 - David Carradine, Sly Stallone, et al in a crazy old film. Classic.
American Movie - . . .
Heavy Metal Parking Lot - . . .

It makes me really angry that they are remaking Batman with the joker...How dare they try to top jack nicholson's performance in the original.

Speaking of American Movie, like 5 years ago I was bored so I watched that movie again and wrote down Mike Shank's parent's names and the town the in Wisconsin where they lived. I then went online and found a telephone number for them and called and left a message for Mike. I pretended to be a producer from MTV interested in giving Mike his own reality TV show. I left my wife's cell phone number as a contact. For the next week Mike would call 3 or 4 times a day leaving messages about his interest in the show. Needless to say my wife was pissed. And I was amused.

It was directed by the same guy that did Eternal Sunshine for the Spotless Mind; I checked it out for that reason alone. As far as being quirky and artsy, to each his own I guess. The main character made me laugh by how awkward he was.
