Some of these lame trends may not be from the 90's, but fuck it.

Baggy jeans, mainly JNCO's
Putting folded socks in shoes to make the tongue puffy.
D3's
BAM products
Wearing Hook-Up shirts, I thought I was cool.
Going ape shit over any thing new from World Industries or Blind.
CCS was my only "skate shop" and I eagerly waited for the catalogs.
I bought any skate companies that were in the Tony Hawk games
Corey Duffel clothing, fuckin high school years. I wore the tight punk band shirts, super skin tight pants, etc.
Baker 3 phase, mainly Greco and Reynolds.
Skating the biggest set of stairs in town.

Talking in ebonics, cornrows, listening to 50 cent, southpole t-shirts, thinking I was awesome, keeping stickers on fitted hats, sagging low, and cornrows.

size 40 pants when i am really size 28
those fabric belts that hang down to your knees
slappy noseslides of all variations. shuvit out, one foot, hangten, switch, kickflip out.
globe shoes
learning kickflips on grass cause i was a big wimp
building a giant kicker that i didn't have the ability to skate at the time
pop shuvits as hardflips
trick lists (truthfully I still do this in my head)
grind kings
target boards for my first few months
the giant original circas
endless arguments about what a pressure flip really was
shoe gooing my shoes forever. I even gooed the sole at one point
trimming and recycling my boards down so they can have a little extra life.
skating a metal pole smaller than a curb
skating in my backyard
skating a friends backyard
rocking up at the local spot and seeing everyone push mongo and thinking i'm doing it wrong
and finally self filming at the skatepark with a fucking ancient camera

edit: one more
slappy noseslide grabs. seriously what the fuck was i thinking?

I was a Die-Hard Muska fan. Well, I still am, but 7 or 8 years ago, I used to skate with backpack, and paint my shoes pink because he skated pink Circas in X games.

Also,in one point, I was really into Jamie Thomas look, wearing flanels, long hair, big shoes and skinny blue thrashed jeans.

-left stickers on my new eras religiously
-ugly ass shoes in the brightest colors I could find
-thumbing through the new CCS and circling what I wanted
-i thought that being able to skateboard would translate into being able to snowboard, bought a setup, boots and all that, broke my arm the second day at the slopes and then my board got stolen...never again.
-hair gel
-wallet chain
-went to the warped tour twice in highschool
-once volunteered for a "stress evaluation" at a booth at the mall, realized halfway through it was a pitch for Scientology
-loved limp bizkit and linkin park, thought i was metal as fuck
-bought a backstreet boys CD in fifth grade because everyone else liked them

Those are the only ones I regret at all, oh well past is the past.
Look I'm not selling anything that doesn't have my jizz on it. I don't care how much is offered.

glad to see i'm not the only one who used to ride grindkings.. i mean, with that name they would HAVE to be the best trucks right?...

- loving dc and element (when the dc video came out)
- wanting the bam v2s really badly
- wearing tight pants at one point, not too bad though
- sum 41, limp bizkit and d12 off of limewire and kazaa
- registered at slap forums
- buying a skate dvd for 40 euros

also, what's wrong with krew pants? not too into the brand myself, but come on it's just pants. i'm wearing black k slims right now and they're comfy and a really nice fit.

Best thread ever.

Swishy pants and CKY Adios in 8th-9th grade.
Cut up shirts and super skinny black jeans, trying to look like Greco/Boulala.
I took the time to learn about 10 pressure flip variations. I just learned another one last week.
Frontside flips a la Muska.
I'm a fan of The 'Nandez.
I tried to 5050 a 20 stair rail because of being too stoked on The 'Nandez.
Striped Fallen hoodies, but I never owned a pair of their shoes.
My first 3 boards were all Bam pro models.

I think this is all the embarrassing garbage.

Pushing mongo, doing wrap-around pogos, caspers, having Mike V as a role model, there was a rumor going around that if you could kickflip, varial flip and heelflip on flat ground that you could get flow for Toy Machine back in 5th grade. There's been a lot of ridiculous stuff I've done or said or believed.

Once my friend gave me a cd with Really Sorry and Subject to Change..I was probably skating for a 1 back then, I didnt know shit about skate scene.  I couldnt believe how Ali Boulala was in both videos, having 2 sponsors was insane to me.

buying what i expected to be skate shirts at a second hand store, just to find out they where blader brands when i went to the local shop
(it said skate on it, so cmon)
buying consolidated for a long time, thinking scott bourne was the shit back then.
striped shirts
striped sweaters
lace belt
lace on the wrist
i once repaired a shoe sole with duct tape, didn't work
skating 2 years still not getting why a front board is frontside when i do kind of a half bs ollie
jumping down a knee high block for 2 hours, just kicking the board in any direction at a time i couldn't even ollie on flatground.
getting a peter smolik autograph.
wanting titan trucks really bad
thinking vert skating is gay.
riding an indy/venture mix setup, that came in like a hotrod.
waxing rails at the park i couldn't even skate
the first video i saw was "ban this" bought it at a skateshop sale, it was already 15 years old, i was thinking skateboarding in the us seems to be different compared to europe, they have different boards and everything... told a friend showed him the video, he made fun of me for a entire year...
